Stop! Before you decide not to watch this video because of the length (I almost did the same thing,) go to about 9:50. It is absolutely glorious. This makes me want to travel to the far reaches of the universe to sing with stars and to go to the sea to raise my voice with whales. It is an absolute mark of our Maker.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so I could move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.
Love suffers long and is kind;
Love does not envy;
Love does not parade itself; is not puffed up;
Does not behave rudely; Does not seek it’s own; Is not provoked, thinks no evil;
Does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Bears All Things;
Believes All Things;
Hopes All Things;
Endures All Things.
LOVE NEVER FAILS.
But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and prophecy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
When I was a child I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
For now we see in a glass, darkly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know as I also am known.
Now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is Love.

“But let there be spaces in your togetherness and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another but make not a bond of love: let it rather be a moving sea between the shores of your souls.” ~Kahlil Gibran
I still think of sand gone by and you who was there. We were this ebb and flow. It moved between us like the words from out mouths and the paintings of our minds. We knew how to be our own persons together. Free.

My dear friend Eliyana posted a photograph of a ballet dance holding an umbrella with this title: There is Beauty in Waiting.
I couldn’t agree with her more and this is my response:
So true, I’ve had this thought going for several months now of ‘waiting for the beautiful.’ In other words, not settling for something less than something beautiful. Who wants their life and love to be ugly or distasteful? No one that I know of, so why do so many people settle? I have no idea, but I know I’m waiting for the beautiful and that is beautiful. I was listening to Something Beautiful by Need to Breathe and finally one of the lyrics caught my ear: “In a daydream I wouldn’t live like this/ I would’ve stopped until I found something beautiful.” I thought, if it’s a daydream and you’re waiting, what about your real life, that you move and interact in! What then? That’s even more important than the daydream. I want to be surrounded by the beautiful and live beautifully.
